MIPS Analog Design Tools
  • MIPS is equipped with the latest powerful, state of the art, commercial tools and complements this with in-house productivity tools for system and circuit design and well as for data mining of very large simulation results.
  • An integrated true Mixed-Signal design flow is achieved through a systematic top-down design approach with co-simulation of analog and digital at all levels from HDL down to transistor level.
  • System sign-off is done after the analysis of simulation results through mixed-level simulations using NanoSim VCS simulation and Astro PrimeTime for signal timing and signal integrity analysis.
  • Sign-off of physical design is done using the FAB's or customers' own check-decks in DIVA, ASSURA or CALIBRE verification tools.
  • MIPS enhances DRC and LVS to provide extra verifications of dedicated analog and mixed signal structures.

Backend Digital Flow

MIPS has a complete digital backend design flow including synthesis, P&R with clock tree and scan chain insertion followed by post-layout timing and signal integrity verifications as well as automatic test pattern generation.
